Checking the cleanout status of a trailer

For TASCC audits (and just general visibility) you'll often need to answer questions like: When was this trailer last cleaned? Who signed it off? What loads has it carried since? The trailer-detail screen has a Cleanout & TASCC status panel that surfaces exactly that.

Opening the trailer detail panel

  1. Go to the Trailer Sheet in the Scheduling menu of the main navigation.
  2. Click the trailer/day you want to inspect.
  3. A window opens with a map of the trailer's recent locations on the left, and the Cleanout & TASCC status and Trailer pings panels on the right.

What the Cleanout & TASCC status panel shows

For each trailer, the panel renders the most recent cleanout that has been completed, along with everything that's happened since.

Last cleanout block

  • Date and time the cleanout was completed.
  • Cleanout type (for example: Wet wash) — this is the type the driver selected when they completed it, captured at the time so it doesn't change even if you later rename or archive that type.
  • Driver who performed the cleanout.
  • Signature thumbnail — the driver's hand-signed signature, stored at completion time.
  • Print name — the printed driver name captured alongside the signature.
  • Photo(s) — if the cleanout type required a photo, thumbnails are shown here. Click View [number] photos to open them in a full grid.

"Never cleaned" status

If a trailer has no cleanout history at all, the panel shows Never cleaned. This is normal for newly added trailers but is worth flagging if it appears on a trailer that's been on the road for a while.

Orders since last cleanout

Below the cleanout block, the panel lists every product this trailer has carried since that last cleanout, in chronological order. For each Order you'll see:

  • Date.
  • Customer.
  • Product carried.

This is the "what's been in here since it was last clean" view that TASCC auditors typically ask for. If the list is empty, the trailer has done no work since its last cleanout - it's still considered clean.

Using this for audits

The information on this panel is the same information you'd hand to a TASCC auditor:

  1. Open the trailer-detail modal.
  2. Read off the date, type, and driver of the last cleanout.
  3. Show the signature and photo as proof of completion.
  4. Show the list of loads carried since - the auditor can then verify the cleanout was appropriate for the previous load and the next load is compatible with whatever clean was performed.

Because cleanout type names, signatures, and driver names are snapshotted at completion time, the panel is safe to use as audit evidence even years later — renaming a cleanout type or moving a driver to a new role won't retroactively change what the panel shows for historical cleanouts.

Rigid vehicles

Cleanouts can also be recorded against rigid vehicles (where the cleaned asset is the vehicle itself rather than a trailer). The same status information is available from the rigid vehicle's detail view.
