2026-7.1 Update Log

Meet TAI - your TransMaS Assistant (Plus feature)

This month we're introducing TAI, our new AI assistant, available with TransMaS Plus. Ask a question in plain English and get an answer in seconds - TAI can search orders, scheduling, driver test dates and absences.

  • "When's Dave's next driver test?"
  • "Who's absent on Wednesday?"
  • "How many orders aren't complete?"

Smoother Subcontract Work

We've rebuilt how subcontracted work is handled, so a supplier's load can be rated, confirmed and sent from one screen instead of working through the jobs one at a time. Allocate an order to a supplier and the new screen opens straight away with that job ready to rate. Or open it from the supplier's schedule using the new "Subcontract Actions" button in the bottom left, and it'll list every job on the load so you can handle them together:

  • Inline rating - type a rate against each job and pick its rate type per line, or enter one rate and apply it to the whole load in a single click.
  • Live running total - the cost of each job and the total subcontract spend update as you type, so you can see the value of the load before anything is saved.
  • Pick and send - tick the jobs to include, then confirm the records and email the instructions to the supplier in one go.
  • Protected rates - jobs already on a purchase invoice are locked, so agreed rates can't be changed by accident.

The subcontract purchase order creation screen has also been upgraded with a clearer, fresher layout to match.

Splitting Multi-Day Orders on the Scheduler

When you drag an order onto a schedule and its collection and delivery can't be carried out on the same day (for example collect Friday, deliver Monday), the scheduler now asks if you'd like to split them onto their proper dates.

Choose Split the order and you're taken straight to the split screen to sort the other leg; choose Keep on this date and the whole order stays on the schedule as before. The split screen itself has also been given a fresh new look.

Preview: Combined Order View

We're trying out a new order view that merges the Completion tab into each consignment, so you can see the whole journey and record progress - times, ETAs and sign-off - in one place, without switching tabs.

It's an optional preview: turn it on from your User Settings under Preview features, and switch back to the classic view at any time from the order screen. Let us know what you think!

Minor Changes

  • Order Delay Alerts - a new option to prevent sending emails before the booked time of an order.
  • Scheduled start time - now shows a start time icon if a start time is set but not completed yet.
  • Bulk customer fuel - we've managed to build a way to apply the same fuel surcharges across multiple customers from the customer list, just click the 3 dots in the top right of the customer listing and select Set Fuel Rates
  • Resend order emails - resend the order confirmation or POD email from the order view's Actions menu.
  • Driver start times check screen - new times/references toggle, vehicle and trailer details, and it's now available from the scheduling menu.
  • Screen PDFs - new PDF buttons on the driver start time and open orders screens. They're designed to replicate the screens, but as everyone has different columns let us know if you spot any issues.
  • Stores stock lists - reworked into In Stock, Incoming, Available, Going Out and Remaining, with a drilldown showing where going-out stock is committed. Stock that is still in stock can no longer be archived.
  • Stock item profile - a larger view showing the item's recent changes, plus a new stock changes report.
  • Orders Added report - see the orders added over a period, with a download shortcut on the dashboard.
  • Invoicing - Find Ready now takes warehouse dates into account.
  • Driver app - product lines now show their units.
  • Load creation - clearer error messages when a load can't be created.

Design Refreshes

We've been bringing more screens in line with our newer design language:

  • Quick search - redesigned as a command bar with clearer results; press Enter to open the top result, and pasted order numbers now work.
  • Running sheet - given a fresh new look, and product quantities now show their units.
  • Print notes - new PDF design to fit other styling, and reordered list into driver order to match the scheduler.
  • Order actions menu - the three dots menu on the order view is now a clearer "Actions" button.
  • Consignment screens - the add consignment and schedule consignment screens have been given a fresh new look.
  • Bulk orders - redesigned bulk order details, and a clearer view of remaining orders on the scheduler.
  • Customer screens - the customer profile and customer list have been refreshed.
  • Scheduler absences - the absence list now uses the same layout as the pending absences view.
  • Driver Shifts & Driver Revenue reports - upgraded to the newer report styling, and Driver Shifts no longer shows blank start and end times.
  • POD emails - proof of delivery notification emails have a fresh design and now include the order details.

Bug Fixes

  • Instruction details - instruction title and comments were not always showing on the running sheet.
  • Driver rate on contract orders - driver wage rate was not pulling through on contract orders.
  • Subcontractor rates - the subcontractor rate was showing at half its value on the order extract.
  • Stores availability - available stock figures were sometimes wrong when stock was committed to orders, and restrictions are now also checked when creating a repack.
  • Quick search - searching for an order number outside the valid range no longer errors, and self-bill lookups now find the right record.
  • Start time check - instructions were not displaying on the start time check screen.
  • Load conversion - fixed an error when converting load lines with no trip information.
  • Two-factor sign-in - fixed an error that could appear when signing in with two-factor authentication.
