Early Access Program
TransMaS is designed to be a rapidly iterating product which is constantly changing to meet customers needs and optimise workflows where possible.
To achieve that, we will often deploy lots of incremental changes, which isn't often what some of our customers would like to see.
To resolve this, we have introduced the Early Access Program (EAP), also known as the beta system. The EAP is opt-in per user, and will provide you with the latest updates as they are ready.
This also means, if you prefer a slower paced release cycle (still not slow but not as regular), then you can remain on the standard version of the platform and receive updates once they have been reviewed by peers and tweaked.
The EAP is also an opportunity for us to test concepts to get user feedback and make further changes before they are made live for the overall community.
Am I enrolled?
The EAP and Standard systems operate on different instances of the system. The easiest way to check which version you are on is the web address you are using. If it shows server.transmas.net in your browser address bar, you are not enrolled.
How do I join?
To join, first log in to the standard platform as your normally would. Once logged in, click your initials at the top right, towards the bottom of the list you can select "Join EAP", which will automatically redirect you to our beta site, where you will need to log in again.
Any time you try to log in to the standard platform in future, you will be automatically redirected to the beta site (this may cause you to need to log in twice).
How do I leave?
The EAP isn't for everyone, if you have joined and would like to leave. Simple repeat the join process as above, except instead of Join EAP, you will have an option to leave the program.
Clicking that will reset your account to send you back to the standard system and prevent future redirects when you log in.
