January Update to the Scheduler

As the main screen in TransMaS the scheduler gets a lot of attention whenever we do an update, and this month is no different.

With the latest update we have changed how the driver column is shown to users to provide a more consistent and more useful layout.

Whats New?

With the new view, you will immediately notice the app symbol has a much more defined look, but it doesn't stop there. This icon will now change colour depending on the state of the drivers load and his digital footprint for the day.

In addition to the TransMaS app state, we have also included a stage for walk-around checks. Currently supported systems include TDi vehicle-check (https://tdisoftware.co.uk/vehicle-check) and Gearbox (https://gearbox.au) but more will be included in future.

What are the different colours?

There are 5 potential icons you may see in this position and they are as follows:

  • No Phone but Spanner shown → Driver has completed a walk-around check but not started his shift in transmas
  • Yellow phone with no spanner → Driver has started his shift in transmas, but not done any checks
  • Green phone with spanner → Driver has started his shift and done checks today
  • Blue phone with spanner → Driver has completed his shift and marked end of shift including walk-around checks during the day
  • Blue phone without spanner → Driver has completed his shift, but not completed any walk-around checks
