Why is there a spanner next to my vehicle
What is it?
In TransMaS you can input some upcoming maintenance for the vehicles and trailers.
The spanner icon appears next to your vehicle when one of the below is upcoming or overdue. If the spanner is yellow it means it is due soon. If it is red then the task is overdue.
The default maintenance list includes:
- Insurance
- MOT
- Road Tax
- 2 Year tacho
- Service
- Tax
- Any custom dates added
Each of these options can be forced to be required. This means this maintenance is required on the vehicle on that specific date. You can also add the following options for each:
- Required - yes or no
- Expiry date
- Weeks - how often does it need to be done
- Comments
How do I update this?
Update: You can now right click on the vehicle directly from the scheduler, and click view vehicle (or trailer) profile. Then continue from step 4.
You can update these option by following the below steps:
- Click on Settings
- Select vehicles or trailers
- Click on the vehicle or trailer
- Select dates
- From here you can change any of the options that were listed above
- Click Update
Once this has been updated the spanner should be removed.
