May 2025 Update Log
We have a big update in store for you today, you will notice some of the changes immediately, and others are more subtle, but things have been changing rapidly behind the scenes to allow for further changes in the future.
Updated Order Creation
The order creation has had a "minor" change. Whilst it is minor in the overall page, it is a substantial change from before. When adding cargo, you will now be given a list of existing records that you can click to edit, and adding new cargo to an order is now in a new modal window.
Updated Order View
Most of the actions on an order have now been moved to a new home. When viewing an order, all of the additional actions (besides update and cancel) are now in a menu at the top right.
Removed Document Dashboard
We have now completely removed the document dashboard, when clicking documents in the menu you will be taken directly to your pending folder.
We have added an upload button to the top right of each folder to replace the lost link, and order documents can now be extracted using the standard Order Search.
Subcontractor rates can now be CPT
Subcontract load lines can now be provisionally CPT based. This flows from the scheduler through to PO generation.
At the same time the subcontract summary screen has been amended in order to support this logic.
Preset Instructions
You can now use preset instructions on your load. Set up reusable instructions from your settings menu, and then within the load when creating an instruction the presets will be available to you.
New Order Completion Emails
Following an email earlier in the month, ePODs will no longer generate a document email, however they will be included in any contacts who receive order completion emails instead.
Other Changes
There are many other changes to the system which will be evident as you browse:
- Scheduler: Now has a filter on the Contract Orders
- Scheduler: You can now drag Contract orders into your standard diary.
- Driver Allocations: Change button added to the table for quick access
- Customer Surcharges: Rebuilt screen to fix various issues
- Customer Portal Users: Added reset password option
- Order Copy: Resolved issue reported that the date selectors weren't having an impact
- Customer Portal: Removed default order type to force customers to enter one
- Customer Portal: Added Rate options that had been missed
- Invoice View: Updated the display slightly
- Invoice Documents: Will now pre-merge PODs before adding to ZIP
- Document Emailer Updated: We can now send much larger POD files to improve deliverability
- Subcontract Instructions: Added Container if set
- Driver PINs: PINs will no longer sync with disc-check, however you can now set your own PIN manually.
- Integration: Completed a TransWide/Alpega Integration
- Integration: Added FONIX Telematics as a valid Telematics provider
- Many, many more bug fixes and tweaks we couldn't list them all
