2025-11 Update Log


We are delighted to bring you our latest system update, packed with new features and improvements. The slight delay in our monthly release was due to a major internal project: the launch of TransMaS Plus.

TransMaS Plus is now live and available to all existing customers free until the end of the year. We have an exciting roadmap for Plus features, including Faults & Prechecks and the Absence Approval System. We will be sharing more details and guides soon, but you can try these features today - just send us an email if you want it turned on for your account.

In the meantime, let's dive into all the other enhancements that have been released in this update:

Automatic Compliance Notifications

We've introduced a powerful new automated email service to keep you on top of your compliance obligations without having to manually check the system.

  • Automated Notifications: The system will now run a check every Monday morning and email opted-in users a report.
  • The email contains a list of all Drivers, Vehicles, and Trailers with any compliance dates expiring within the next two weeks (or already overdue).
  • Legacy App User List: The report also shows a list of drivers still logged in to the old mobile app version, which we strongly recommend updating.
  • To start receiving this report, click your initials in the top right, select User profile, and update your email notification preferences at the bottom of the page. You can opt out at any time.
  • Administrators can customise the compliance dates for drivers, vehicles, and trailers from the Company Profile screen.

Accounting & Finance

  • Easily resend credit notes to customers directly from the system: Open a credit note, press the 3 dots in the top right corner, then select Email Credit.
  • Minimum driver hours cost calculation: To set minimum daily hours for a driver, go to their profile and navigate to the Weekly Costs tab. These are used on the load costing calculation for the costs per day in the schedule

Order & Job Management

  • Opening times automation for order creation: When creating a new order, the system now automatically uses the stored opening times for the selected location to prevent scheduling conflicts.
  • The order surcharge tab has a new, improved layout.
  • Order Import can now ignore existing orders, and only ever create new ones.
  • You can now create a new product directly from within the new order screen without navigating away.
  • Improvements to site/location coordinate search

Driver & Scheduling

  • You can now assign colours to your driver groups. These will automatically display on the scheduler.
  • Following a customer request you can now see driver groups on the order search screen, and toggle between searching for an individual driver and a group.
  • Grid view added to the Today’s Planner screen.

Background Report Execution with Email

  • Performance Updates: We have introduced a new background runner for reports. This means that for compatible reports (marked by a bolt icon ⚡), they will run in the background so you don't have to wait for them. They can also be automatically emailed to you when they finish processing.
  • Recent Reports Screen: You can view a list of reports you have run in the last 24 hours by selecting Recent reports from your user menu (click your initials).

System Improvements & Important Notices

  • Authentication Updates: Implemented to prevent concurrent logins using the same user credentials, ensuring better security. 
  • Important: Old Mobile App V110 Will Cease Functioning
    • Scheduler Flag: Drivers using the legacy V110 app are now flagged on the scheduler.
    • Action Required: The old app will cease functioning at the end of this year. Please ensure all drivers update to the latest TransMaS mobile application immediately to avoid service disruption.
