Predefined Instructions
Within the scheduling module of TransMaS, you are able to send drivers instructions during the course of their work day.
This could be something like a trailer swap, or instructing a driver to take the vehicle for maintenance.
In some cases, you may have the same instructions you wish to send to a driver (or multiple), this is now possible in TransMaS using predefined Instructions.
To use Predefined Instructions, navigate to Settings in the main menu, and then select predefined instructions in the Scheduling section.
Creating an instruction
To create a predefined instruction, do the following:
- Select Settings in the main menu on the left
- Click Predefined Instructions in the options provided (Scheduling permission required)
- Click the Create New button at the top right
In the Shortcode box, enter a short name that will display in the list of options in the load view.
In the Text box, enter any information you would like to send to the driver.
Optionally, select a Location from your location list if you want to set the location automatically.
- Click Create and if all required boxes are entered your page will reload and the preset is created for use.
Using a Predefined Instruction
To use a predefined instruction, do the following:
- Open the load of your choice from the scheduling screen (or any other method)
- Click Instructions at the top right
- At the bottom of the list will be any available predefined instructions
- Click the relevant instruction code to be presented with the full add instruction screen
- Customise any options required, and press create.
The new instruction will now be added to the bottom of the current load.
