How Auto-Scheduling Works
Automatic load creation lets you set up TransMaS so that loads are populated on the scheduler in advance, using driver shift patterns, absences, and subcontractor settings. Then they are ready to go when the time arrives.
The system auto-generates new loads several days in advance so you will not see new loads from changing settings on the scheduler screen immediately. To add them in right away, create a load from the Create button at the top of the screen.
Driver Shift Patterns
Driver shift patterns are a core function of making sure the driver roster and automated scheduler is able to work efficiently. Each driver can be allocated a shift pattern which represents the days they work, this is then reviewed by the roster system to automatically create loads when the driver is on shift.

Absences
There are three ways to add an absence:
- Create button at the top, then select Absence.
- Absence in the main menu then click the Add Absence button on top right.
- Scheduling > Driver Roster > Right click on a day
Drivers who are off work will not automatically generate loads on the scheduler, so you only see the drivers who are available to work. Driver shift patterns and absences will appear in the Driver Roster so you can have an overview of availability.

Subcontractor Settings
If you would like a subcontractor to automatically appear in your loads list, you need to edit their subcontractor settings under the supplier profile. There you can set auto-scheduling options for what days of the week you want them to appear.
