Open Orders

An open order in TransMaS is any order that has been created but not yet delivered. Your main page for assigning work to open orders is the scheduler screen. On that screen, only unallocated orders are visible in the main list. If you want to view both unallocated and allocated orders in a single list, head over to the Open Orders screen by click Scheduling on the sidebar and then Open Orders.

Note: Outstanding Contract Orders are not visible on this screen, although any orders created from them would be.

Viewing options

  1. Filter by customer or order type: Start typing or select a customer or order type from the drop down menus
  2. View by date: Scroll back or forward or click in the box to select from the date picker. Orders that have collection and delivery requested on different dates will appear in the list for both dates.
  3. Columns: Click the columns button to view a list of what columns can be made visible.
  4. General filter: This will filter by any of the fields in the columns list (visible or not).

Actions you can take

  1. Click on blue job number to open order and view details or edit the order.
  2. Click within the schedule column to either assign to a load or open load details.
    • If an order is unallocated, it will say "Unscheduled" in this column and you can click in to open the Schedule Consignment pop-up with all necessary options such as collection + delivery, or collection or delivery only, a list of available loads, and the option to create a new load.
    • If an order has been allocated, it will show driver, vehicle, and trailer info. Once a load has been confirmed, it will be highlighted in green and have a check next to it.

Once an order is delivered it is removed from the open orders list and is viewable on the Order Confirmation page (go to Transport in side bar, then select Order Confirmation), the last step before an order is ready for invoicing.
