Order Changes/Updates

The first thing you will notice, is the add order screen has been updated. This brings it in line with the other consignment views and allows us to progress with our vision of multi-drop. No functionality is removed so this is a visual change only.

We have also integrated Rate Tables in to orders. You an activate them by creating the rate table in settings, followed by going into the customer profile and linking the profile to their account. The system will then automatically set the rate when creating a new order.

Additionally, order completion emails will now include any surcharges that have been added to the order prior to its completion.

Pricing/Invoicing issues resolved

It was brought to our attention that some invoices were raised with nil value. This was caused by a combination of CPT rating and the site manager being used to complete orders.

This also lead to a bug whereby the order quantity was charged in some cases instead of the delivered quantity. Both issues have now been assessed and resolved.

Per Unit pricing has been updated to resolve an issue where the base rate was continuously increased.

Customer Portal Updates

The customer portal has received a couple of updates, including improved search by order number functionality. Customers can now search by any of the 5 references on an order.

Additionally within the customer profile, you can now enable the visibility of quotes and/or invoices. So your customer can view these directly. This must be enabled manually within the customer profile settings using the new permissions screen. It is not enabled by default for portal users.

Mobile app documents

A long term feature, documents can now be made available for the mobile app. This requires the latest version which is due for release this week. However you can now right click an order document in any order and make it public. This will make it visible to the driver via the app.

Other changes and bug fixes

  • We have integrated eSign with the site manager/weighbridge to allow for e-signatures upon departure
  • We have added regional bank holidays to the system. Previously all accounts would use England and Wales. We now have options for each part of the UK.
  • We fixed a bug causing the driver absence summary to show the current years allocation regardless of which year you were looking at.
  • We have fixed a bug with ePOD not being sent to the sites with an email specified. This may also have caused ePOD's to be sent but not saved to the order profile.
