Xero customer finder

If you already use the Xero integration, you will be well aware of the "not so simple" way to link a customer after the initial sync.

Now we have added a customer match screen which will let you search your Xero contacts and get the ID automatically. This is only available in the edit customer screen, so you will need to add the customer first.

TASCC Updates

One of the areas we have a lot of crossover with customers is operators in the TASCC network. Working with customers we have been able to implement a new compliance system which will be enhanced further over the coming months.

For today, we have added a TASCC compliance box to the additional tab on a product profile. This will allow you to set if a product is exempt from TASCC, or a TASCC product.

Within the Trailer profile screen, you can now set keywords against each trailer. In order to carry a TASCC product, the trailer must include the TASCC keyword. Additionally, if the product is marked exempt, then you will receive an error when trying to add it to a TASCC trailer.

This is completed by utilising keywords on the order. When an order contains a TASCC product, the TASCC keyword will automatically be applied to the order and restrict it to just TASCC trailers. When an order contains TASCC excluded products, the !TASCC keyword will be applied to the order and restrict it to non-TASCC trailers only.

More Scheduler tweaks

Any changes to the scheduler are always controversial but we have tried to keep this one small and useful.

  • The app symbol when a driver/subcontract is logged in, will no longer show a spanner above the phone symbol
  • When any prechecks are done, they are checked against the vehicle and trailer list, and linked directly
  • If a precheck is done on an asset and it has a failure, it will show a red exclamation against the asset
  • If at least one precheck is done, and that asset does not have one, then it will show a yellow exclamation.
  • If prechecks are done at all, the phone symbol will go green to confirm compliance.

Contract Order Changes

We have been updating various systems to make them more intuitive and correct, one of these is Contract Orders (previously known as bulk orders).

  • Contract orders will now honour the dates selected on the scheduler.
  • When updating ANY reference, you can now press force references to update all linked orders.
  • A new toggle has been added to the scheduler to hide zero remaining orders (default ON).
  • You can now change a location on a bulk order, changing this will update all linked orders.

We will continue to make further updates on this during the coming days.

App v1.6 available

During our update process the new version of the app was released, this comes with a variety of bug fixes but also new features.

  • Multi-select is now available, long pressing on any activity will enter multi-arrival mode.
  • New Full Screen signature pad
  • Data entry is now separated into its own screen.
  • On iOS devices when selecting view on map it will correctly show a list of mapping applications installed.
  • You can now set the default scan mode for PODs to make it more accurate (do this from your company settings screen).

As normal, older versions have been removed from support, and we have added the new app to Webfleet MDM and Android/Apple app stores.

Minor Changes/Fixes

  • Service Level added to order extract.
  • Order extract now available via our API in JSON and/or CSV format.
  • Product Settings Updates:
    • Added a new merge product function to help clean up duplicate products
    • Corrected the never used flag on product listing.
    • Fixed updating an archived product to reactivate it.
    • Added recent jobs to the product profile.
  • Created the initial version of our HOLCIM import in the order system.
  • Fixed a bug with inter-account orders where it was duplicating products.
  • Fixed a bug where you could copy an order with archived products.
